Everyday Linen Placemats — Chalk with Cherry Edge

A pair of chalk-white linen placemats finished with a 1 cm cherry-red bound edge and a hand-run stitch line just inside it. Rectangular, generous enough to take a dinner plate and a glass without the plate hanging off the end.

They go straight in the machine. A placemat that has to be dry-cleaned is a placemat nobody uses.

• Fabric: 100% linen, stonewashed
• Edge: 1 cm contrast binding, cherry red
• Stitch: single hand-run line, 1 cm inside the binding

Care

Machine wash cool on a gentle cycle with like colours. Tumble dry low or line dry. Warm iron while slightly damp. Do not bleach.

Sizes are the specification we manufacture to and are measured flat before washing. Linen relaxes slightly with the first wash.
