Privacy policy

Last updated 24 March 2025

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Froliko collects when you visit or buy from froliko.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it and what rights you have over it. Froliko is a trading name of AEROSMART TECHNOLOGY LIMITED, Flat/Rm 1006, 10/F, Po Yip Building, 23 Hing Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong SAR (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the information described here.

Information we collect

Information you give us. Your name, email address, delivery and billing address, and the contents of any message you send us. If you create an account, the username and password you choose.

Payment information. Payment card details are captured by our payment provider through Shopify’s checkout and are never transmitted to or stored by us. What we receive against an order is the amount, the card brand, the last four digits and whether the payment succeeded.

Order information. What you bought, when, what you paid, the delivery address, tracking details, and any return or refund attached to the order.

Technical information. Your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view on froliko.com, the site or advertisement that referred you, and similar information collected automatically through cookies and comparable technologies.

Why we use it

  • To perform our contract with you — taking, packing, shipping and tracking your order, handling returns and refunds, and answering your questions.
  • For our legitimate interests — screening orders for fraud, keeping the site secure and working, understanding in aggregate which products and pages people use, and improving what we sell.
  • With your consent — sending marketing email, and setting non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • To comply with the law — keeping transaction and tax records, and responding to lawful requests from authorities.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with parties who need it to run the business:

  • Shopify Inc., which hosts this store and its checkout.
  • Payment providers, which process your payment and carry out fraud screening.
  • Fulfilment partners and carriers, which pack and deliver your parcel and need your name, address and contact details to do so.
  • Email and analytics providers, which send order notifications and help us understand site usage.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, where we are required by law to disclose information or need to establish or defend a legal claim.

In connection with a sale, merger or restructuring of the business, customer records may transfer to the acquiring party, subject to the protections in this policy.

International transfers

We are based in Hong Kong SAR and our service providers operate in several countries, so your information will be transferred outside the country you live in. Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK equivalent, unless the destination has been recognised as providing an adequate level of protection.

How long we keep it

  • Order and transaction records — seven years, for tax and accounting purposes.
  • Account details — for as long as your account is open, and for two years after your last activity if you do not close it.
  • Customer service correspondence — three years from the last message.
  • Marketing contacts — until you unsubscribe, and then only a suppression record so that we do not email you again.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep your cart and session working and cannot be switched off without breaking the site. Analytics and advertising cookies are optional and are set only where you have agreed or where local law allows. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; if you do, parts of the checkout may stop working.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete information we no longer need to keep;
  • restrict or object to how we use it, including for direct marketing;
  • provide it in a portable format, or transfer it to someone else;
  • withdraw consent you previously gave.

To exercise any of these, email info@froliko.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first — usually by confirming details of a recent order. We will not treat you differently for exercising a right.

If you are in the EEA or the UK and you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority. If you are in Hong Kong SAR, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data.

Children

Froliko is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

Traffic to and from froliko.com is encrypted in transit, access to order data is limited to the people who need it, and card details never reach our systems. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security — but we will tell you, and the relevant authority, if a breach affecting your information occurs and the law requires notification.

Changes

If we change this policy we will post the revised version on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will be notified to account holders by email.
